im glad im not the only one that thinks it looks rank.
-
Change the front grill sling some muds on it and it will be fine.......
-
ur right i think its the grille thats putting me off it
-
It does look like someone has kicked it hard in the balls (Diffs?) and made its eyes stick out!
-
lol
-
the front end and the silver roll cage. absolutely RANK. it wouldnt bother me but i know that the current design tem are looking to head this way with the defender. all futuristic.
-
I'd like to take them both of road and make a mess! :D
-
yes a dirty weekend would be fine with me too.
-
looks like a truck version of mums defender black with an icky grill!
-
It would probably look much better covered in a thick layer of mud.

-
It looks like a cheap knock off copy of itself (the truck) like a Santana, but worse.
-
yeah i agree. But no doubt it will go down a storm with the average public, who might be temted to buy it instead of an L200 or summot, so they can use it to mount kerbs in chelsea's town centre. so land rover will proably be thrilled with it.
-
SORRY GANG, i've just been ad placed and order for one....will put some pics on later..
-
The grille is a bit Lego really. But I'm sure they won't have any problems selling them. My friend who works for them is thinking of selling his 50th LE for one.
-
I don't have too much trouble with the silver cage. It's the grille and those odd looking lamp rims that.... well...... look cheap.

Really, for yourself? Nice, I like its beefy looks but want to see one in the flesh as the photograph perspective looks adjusted (even Zara Phillips looks fatter and shorter)
Is this just a face lift of the 2007 model or is it as someone said yesterday this was the model aimed to reintroduce the defender back into the North American markets? Can't see that as true myself as the last I heard the model for the US market was planned around 2014 with a totally new chassis and airbags and such other voodoo (If LR is still around in 2014).

Bit posh for my tastes, but a good ride i'm sure!

Yes indeed. i wouldnt turn it down though. as for the land rover i would rather have a normal one!
-
took it for test drive this morning...it was bloody cold with the roof off :o
-
I suppose it has a nice shape. Nice curves at the front, but not too much overhang at the rear…….and I guess the Land Rover isn’t too bad either!!!!

Strange grill but the spec sounds alright
Ipod and subwoofers, in a Defender
