Title: viscous coupling?
Post by: BigBlue90 on January 08, 2008, 10:56:35
Viscous coupling has gone on a 52 plate frrelander.

Any idea how easy they are to replace at home or is it a garage job?

Anybody had one done at a garage able to give me an idea on a price to have the work done.

Just working out some options for getting my mothers fixed :(

cheers

Have a look at Ashcroft transmissions they are a good bunch.Have a look here at Freelander parts
http://www.ashcroft%20transmissions.co.uk/ (http://www.ashcroft%20transmissions.co.uk/)
Usually if the viscouse coupling is sierzed then it also takes out the IRD
