Does anyone know what the illuminate Yellow/orange engine symbol on the dashboard of a Td4 freelander means.

My dads boss has one and its showing this symbol, whats more the car broke down earlier on, and had air in the furl line, a mechanic got it going but its has completley stopped tonight!

Any ideas - a yellow illuminated engine symbol?
