Hi, not to sure but we have one here haveing front end repairs & the headlamp panels look the same but could do with a better pic of them, see if he'll take a close up for you, better still i'll ask him as it sound like he's in a bodyshop, shame it's not a 3 door  ,
John.

Hi, just thoght where the doors are, but thinking about it the shells could be the same, will see if i can find out a bit more info, it's not that far from me, proberbley about 10 miles or so,

If it's a 3 door then it's a 200, I don't think I've ever seen a 300 3 door, even the Commericals became 5drs

I'd be very surprised if that's a three door. I'd have expected some interior panels over where the rear doors are.
4 years outside with only primer on it. I'd be very worried. Primer doesn't form a very good barrier from water and if anything soaks water. So the body could be in a poor state after that length of time sat outside.

Definitely 5 door. Although I do believe the shells were built to be adaptable between 3 or 5 door with fairly minimal work.
Looking at the headlamp panels on that I'd put my money on it being a 300 shell - aren't the headlamp recesses rectangular on a 89-94 model?
Unless it's a V8 shell

I'll go & have a look, forgot i've got one here  ,
John.

John..........if its not far from you.......is there any chance if you have the time to give it the once over.
Thanks.

i "think" thats a td5 shell due to the lack of rear body mounts & also the length if the rear overhang

Seem's you'r right there again mike, it's a td5, going to keep my eye on it just out of interest,
John.

Thanks guys.............if thats the case.............its no good to me.

Maybe I should buy it as swmbo does seem to have ''bad'' luck with her's  ,

Definitely a TD5, the shape of the rear wheel arches in the bottom corner of the rear doors are curved unlike the 90 deg angle on 200/300 ie the bit that rusts.
