Most Mitsies can be wound up a little anyway on the suspension I think. Thye have adjustable torsion bars which can give a s much as 2" lift. Or at least that is the case fo rthe newer ones and the L200/Sport models.

I am sure someone else will let us know if I am talking utter b*****ks ;)

Not wrong their Robbie.   You can also get uprated suspension components from your local Old Man Emu stockist.  That will give you some lift and quite likely improve the handling too :-)

just done a quick search on google for Old Man Emu and it seems that it is suspension bits which, if firmer, may add a little extra lift to your Paj.

Try a search in google yourself and see where it takes you, it might be interesting ;)

Muddymart, it is possible to turn the front torsion bars up for extra clearence at the front(30m/m is max. recomended) mine is closer to 40m/m and yes it makes a difference.
You dont say whether its SWB or LWB, SWB rear springs can be replaced with the LWB which are 2" longer so ive heard but havnt yet gone down this road.HTH.

Here you go, Devon 4x4 (http://www.devon4x4.com/products/20/Suspension) do OME suspension, have a look on their site or give them a ring & see what they can recommend.

or Explorer UK (http://www.explorerprocomp.co.uk/acatalog/SuspensionSystems_Mitsubishi.html) do an upgrade kit for the L200 from ProComp which has everything included by the looks of it.

And L.A.Superturx (http://www.supertrux.com/acatalog/Mitsubishi_Suspension.html) do all sorts.  :D

Just some info peeps
2.8 LWB springs are NOT 2" longer than 2.8 SWB ones,
just tryed this mod on mates PAJ
and the springs are nigh on identical although LWB may be slightly stronger which may give a marginal lift to a saggy PAJ
Just pricing up a full kit at mo hopefully with re-angled torsion bars and true 2" longer springs and longer rear panard rod so it go's up properly
I'll keep you posted as to how we get on

Fatusbloke would like to see finished project if you think about it could you take some in progress piccies?

Only problem then is getting more articulation from the front end, jacking the bars up at the front reduces downward travel.

Have lifted my Paj SWB 2in all round by winding out the Torsion bars 40mm and fitting 2.8LWB rear coils ,thelwb coils have a higher load rateing that gives approx 2in of lift when fitted with +2in Shocks - available from (Pro-Comp)Explorer uk,just have to trim the front bump stops by half to give a little more articulation, next is to fit 16in rims with
255/85/16 MT s, about as far as you can go without spending loadsa dosh,
(correct me if im wrong),

with the 2" of lift you should be able to fit 33" mt's which would give you a little extra clearance or drop to 32".

Its the extra clearance under the Diff that im after- thats why im going for the 85 profile- 255/85 16s should give me nearly an extra 2in ,
think that size is only available in BFG MTs  that will do me nicely,

i have lifted mine put 32" bf goodridge tyres on it and tightened up the torosion bars all the way aswell as put lwb rear springs on mine ( swb) and took off the side steps and was very suprised at the height ive gained and when i off roading makes all the diffrence mate but if you want to spend mega dosh try new shocks new springs and then you will have to extend your brake pipes its not worth it to me like but how high do you wanna go and how much you gunna spend? could go on and on and on lol

Explorer Pro Comp 2" lift kits are available for Mk1 and Mk2.

I have one on my SWB Mk2 and its excellent kit,

As luck would have it Pajero UK members can get them through the club shop at about 10% discount from retail.

(And the club is free to join too).
