Well come to the club ;). As for the roll cage, I've thought about making one my self. Is it an actual pipe bender you have or a tube bender? If its a pipe bender you should be able to use a decent thickness cds tube. if its a tube bender you have, you can get away with blue band gas tube as its thicker and doesn't tend to crimp when bending. The only thing is how confident a welder are you? the last thing you want is steel tube shooting through the cabin when you roll it! Post some pictures of your truck anyway!

Blue band pipe is for gas lines, However ive read a few threads where they say its MSA Approved for rollcages. you might be able to pick some up from a building merchants. Or a steel supplier depending on were you live, and how much you want to spend. But im guessing as your making it your self your trying to save some cash. Since they use plastic now, try a scrapyard.
http://www.hfcrick.co.uk/mildsteeltube.htm - you could ring then for some prices. Its heavy stuff though, your cage might end up weighing more than your Suzuki!

many thanks for your ideas, i got my tube from a friend red band pipe, was talking to him about the pipe and he rung back and said he had some turns up with 8 lengths for nothing
