Title: Clutch pressure
Post by: Yoshi on June 28, 2009, 16:22:04
Well me clutch pedal has dropped right down.

Checked me fluid and the reservoir is still full.

Is this likely to be slave cylinder?

possibly tho could also be release fork in the bell case. if were slave would poss expect loss of fluid too.

well i did notice something dripping under there, so could be slave i spose, but not been under for a proper investigation.

clutch still works, its just like when the master cylinder goes on your brakes, pedal goes down but you can still operate it!

yhe I guess over time air gets in or fluid gets out. just atach a pipe to the bleed niple on the slave into a jar. force down the cluch with a stick wedged on the seat then slowly undo the bleed niple till air or fluid comes out. lock it of then raise and repress the clutch. keep doing it till your clutch is firm. I think it took me like 6 times. check the resvior eatch time and refill. If this dont do the job I guess its the clutch plates or something.
