They are said to be really quiet on the motorway and big and good off road or as a towing vechicle

. Can become an extreme bit of kit with the right bolt on's But my guess is you didn't buy it to climb every mountain . Even still I think it would be wise to have a look at your headlight wattage . Most of the Terrano's ,or Mavericks come standerd with 55watt bulbs or maybe 60 . Just go to your local auto factors And buy a pair of 133 wattage . They  will probally go on to tell you that these are way  to powerful .Dont take any of it  .I have a pair of 133s in my yolk for the past 3 years and there is no sign of dimming .

Excellent idea to up the wattage of the old lights but..be careful. You aint allowed to run more than 60watts main beam here in the UK (like a policemans gonna know how to check that!). But on a more serious note, do not just plug in high wattage bulbs, you will end up with a melted h/light connector or at worst a melted h/light switch. Most modern vehicles do not have heavy enough lighting wiring to cope with the extra current draw of a pair of "nightsuns" in the front. I run 55/100's in my Nissan Patrol and they are both on seperate relays. The relays take the grunt of the current draw and the existing wiring runs the relays.
Why do you think extra lighting kits come with 30a relays?? :-)

Andy, I have a Ford Maverick and as far as I know when the family 4x4 market started ford had missed the boat, so theybrought the rights to use Nissan's Terrano as their own Maverick. so the answer to you question is yes a Terrano is a Maverick and a Maverick is a Terrano. also before you ask yes nearly all the parts are interchangable.
I can also vouch for the off road capabilities of the Terrano/Maverick, the only problem is the overhang on the front and the back, new bumpers can be expencive. You should have a look at http://www.nissan4x4ownersclub.co.uk/ this site has saved me a fortune on parts and the advice is excelent. Hope this helps.

Depends how heavy your right foot is. If I hammer it I can empty a £50.00 tank in 200 miles  , but normal driving you should get about £29 mpg. :)
When I towed my caravan down to Spain with a friend in a Frontera & caravan. he must have made 3 more fuel stops than me (and I had a bigger caravan & 2 extra kids!)
