Hi All
Yep I'll be at the meet, though I might not make the maintenance meet, rumour at work has it that I could be in Denmark all that week playing "fireman sam". Let you all know closer the time.

He has them listed as RR, but they should be the same... unless someone wants to correct me!
Not doing an axle in an evening are we...
-
Yep, that'll be the one. Get an axle then we'll worry about when and where we're gonna fit it. Need to soak all the necessary fittings in WD40 for a few days prior to getting passionate with it.
That'll be;
Brake pipe unions on the calipers
Nut and bolt that hold the brake pipe/ flexi pipe "T" piece to the axle
Nuts and bolts that secure the trailing arms to the axle
The Aframe ball joint nut
The 2 nuts and bolts that hold the ball joint assembly to the A frame arms
The 4 bolts (2 each side) that keep the road spring retainers to pads on the axle
If in doubt give it a squert.
See yous all Monday
Note: Pete, bring your truck and we'll measure up for a shackle lift.
-
Thanks for all the help, hopefully picking up the replacement axle this weekend if he gets it off
Unfortunately I have to go to Stockholm on Monday and will not be back until Thursday :(
So Tom and I will not be able to make Monday, he's not happy.
Happy to come along to the maintenance eve, if any bulbs need changing I'm your man, anything else is beyond me. Tom is happy to get dirty if you have any grotty jobs.

Excellent Pete, thas.
I have a much better location for a fix it meet..... my garage in Northampton as there is wire for Lee's lights and a transfer box that needs swapping unless I manage to resist the sledge hammer on it!!!!! Box decided to go south earlier this week
-
northamptom then, do you need anything,
-
You will need all the materials for whatever work you want doing, that means all the little consumable items like cable ties, tape, terminals, nuts and bolts etc.
Also there will no-doubt be a communal need for kettle tea/coffee etc (biccy's would be nice may be).
Can discuss individual needs at the meet tonight.
Regards
Stuart
