Took the family for a spin today and stopped off at Llanberis. Whilst there we visited the National Slate Museum.

We carried on in a circular route and ended up at the tip of the Lleyn Peninsula looking over to Bardsey Island

Do you know you make me so jealous. Wish i was back home. used to love the slate mine and the walk around the wood by the old quarry. and the train drive along the side of the lake :cry: :wink:

flippen heck amazed that old mine truck is still hanging up. its been their for years :shock: . Still looks as good as it did years ago
