Hi all have just put my big lift on my series and the brake hoses are streched to braking point!
just wondering how long standard ones are because i dont think mine are standard.
Also how long the extended ones are.
Thanks in advance Reece

When I rebuilt my 109" to One-ton replica I replaced the hoses with braided and extended ones for a 90/110
It meant that I had to change to metric unions which wasn't a problem as I was making up a full set of new pipes anyway and as the hoses fix onto a series in a slightly different way than a 90/110 then it means that in effect I have a set of hoses that are approx 4 inches longer than standard series ones.
This has definitely helped as I have an eight inch gap between the wheel arches and the tops of the 265/75x16 tyres I am currently running. Really should be on 9.00x16's but every time I come accross some for sale they get snapped up before I get them.

or you could go to your local hydraulics shop and get them to make up braided hoses to any length you require, you'll probably find they're cheaper than trying to buy from landy aftermarket suppliers

got mine from Llama4x4 - extended / braided hoses @ £13 each ;)

Or, cut the mounting bracket off the chassis and weld it back on a few inches lower down.
