Hi Rich,

I have the wiring diagrams for Series IIa models (standard not FC), may be the same as Series IIb Forward Control...

Series IIa models with headlamps in the front wings (negative earth)
Light Green to Flasher indicator unit
Green / White to Right hand side
Green / Red to Left hand side

Series III models, negative earth
Same as above

How do you propose to wire up a Hazard light switch?
Do you need one for working with your machine, or you just fancy one?
You certainly don't need one for an MOT for instance...

I should be able to find an electronic copy of the diagrams somewhere, just rebuilt my PC though I know I have them somewhere... Let me know if you need the diagrams. and I can e-mail them or find the original links to them.

Regards,
Rob.

One old Idea i used to make a simple hazard circuit was to use a heavy flasher relay, and then link a wire between the left and right circuits on a switch, so if you wanted hazards, you could drop an indicator on and flick this switch in

I'm pretty sure you don't need one, it wasn't there in the original wiring diagram, and so when tested, they would be testing against your vehicle in the age it was created, not today. It was not built with Hazard lights, hence they can't test for them. If they have been fitted since then I'm sure they will test them, if not there, they can't.
