Title: Classic overfinch conversion

Have a 1983 classic rangie with the 350 chevy and box overfinch conversion, its got the formula ferguson transfer box.Have lost drive to front wheels anyone know were these can be overhauled, have been told these were also fitted to ff jenson intercepters. Any info appreciated.

The Schuler box is a viscous unit like the later ZF but it's aklso a 60/40 split.  They did indeed build the Jenson FF transmission using similar technology.  I'd try Ashcrofts.

Tom at Nick Kerner's near Bracknell has this (I believe) in his Dakar and might be able to help out.
