Got some axle breathers to fit but the fitting instructions goes on about ther tubing following the route of existing tubing but there isn't any ? I am right in fitting them to the bolt on top of the axle axle casing on LHS for the front etc ?
Ait filter- has anyone changed from oil bath to air filter if so where do you get the casing from and are they smaller than oil bath assemblies ?

Your right about the breathers.
Dont know about the filter. How about fitting one from a 2.5 diesel??

I ran the front axle breather tube along the top of the axle case to the drivers side and then ty-wrapped it to the brake lines, up into the engine bay and then up the snorkel tube. The rear one was the same but went up inside the rear panel where the lights are. I've still got to fish it out and extend it a bit.
When I had my 2.25 petrol engine I used a Maestro/Montego airbox. It's a bit bigger than the original oil bath filter but it will fit in the same position if the oil bath mounting straps are cut off.

Hi,
I run my 2.25 diesel throught a 2.5 90 air box, they are slightly smaller but not by much, have stupig legs on the bottom which once they have been taken off are alot shorter in heright however.
Some one said its bad to run a 2.25 diesel throught a paper elimement. However, i have seem benifits of it so im not going back.
Click this link and it shal show you how il fitted mine and conected it to my snorkel as well. All home made in a Saturday before a Bures outing the next!!!
