I've mounted my solenoid pack on the passenger side inner wheel arch, next to battery No1 so I need to run the main feed from the battery to the solenoid pack but via a cutout switch. Whereabouts have you put yours on a Rangie that's easily accessible in an emergency, what type did you use and where did you get it from?

Mine is through the front innner panel, one of the slots for mounting the wider radiator I think. Battery isolator switch, try Towsure as these are often sold for boats and therefore waterproof.

ok, went to my local auto electricians today and they've ordered one of these for me for £21 inc.

275 amps for 1 hour, the switch is not what I'd be worried about :o
Looks fine to me, at that price though, carry a spare
