looks nice....NOW GET OFF THE BLOODY GOLF COURSE

the shogun looks awesome just thinking of getting rid of the company merc (c class) and trading in the terrano we use for towing and buying a year old shogun "field" 5 door leather trim manual etc etc:
any thoughts?
also any idea if the alko hitch opens n closes ok with the spare tyre on the back? ours is a pain with the terranno and before that the disco: do you need an extension hitch at all or does it lock on ok?
cheers:
Steve

Go for it Steve, Great tow car and goes like the clappers when you want it too..
The gearbox is very nice and adjusts to your driving habits, and for fun you have spots mode, Boy does it go

Mine has a factory fitted swan neck and it's a little tight but I managed it ok..
You can buy a removable handle for the ALKO hitch to get round this problem http://217.199.167.226/info-detail.asp?ID=577
I got the tyres dusty at the weekend 8)
