Bit expensive considering you can buy a complete MOT failure for half the price

haven't killed mine yet and I've been trying!

hi suzi boyz, we are building a load of custom stuff for a swb suzy trooper at the moment, front and rear bumpers with detachable winch trays, and rocksliders, its gonna look kinda cooooooooool!
-
I would be interested in a non winch bumper in a couple of months for a lwb frontera ;)
Something double tubed with spot light fittings
Should I start saving ?
-
to be honest this is a real nightmare, i had far to much work on to do one off work , its megga time consuming, so unless business goes <naughty> up, i will not be doing any others im afraid.
only did this as i promised i would do it ages ago, and dont like to go back on what i say.
its a shame as its a bit more fun doing different stuff, but have to concentrate on what we do really!
looking for another engineer at the moment, if that works out and i can free up some time myself, then i will go back into one offs again, but at the moment struggling to find someone who can weld.

loads of time to sort that out, just bought myself a new toy of ebay!
Previous owner drowned it and ended up putting a con rod through the sump!
Just looking for a replacement engine and then taking my LWB off the road for a while for a bit of TLC (mainly replacing a front axle and loads of panels)
My new toy................................................

Good luck :azn:

Replacement engine located last night, it should be up and running by the new year! gives me a few months to sort the LWB out at my leisure ;)

Hello.....(Hello...Hello).....it's very quiet and echo-y in here. Anyone broke down yet.?
-
Dont be silly 2.8 dont ya know :afro:
-
Got room for another 2.8 to slide in, not broken yet, haven't tried that hard though. Got a Maz 3.5 SLT (TDI) in a RR as well, another good Jap engine, don't leak oil either.

Did you sell that yellow monster Baz ?
-
Hi Ste
Still got the beast, though I've re advertised it at a reduced asking price commensurate with the current economic climate. In English thats dropped the price to £4500. I know it's a giveaway price but I want the cash to pay back the money barrowed to buy the Fronty and to fund the planed enhancements (lifts, tyres, wheels, bumpers, winch, rack, lights etc)
Regards
Stuart :D
-
Not been on for some time. Just like to say my 2.8 is still going strong. Got a nice big Ally Sport intercooler in front of it now.
-
Nothing but servicing here too, though its a tad higher again
