Title: low pressure fuel lines
Post by: lambert on January 19, 2012, 20:32:12
Hi,

How involved is replacing the lines from the tank to the lift pump? I'm assuming I need to replace them as even with a new lift pump and new glow plugs it is still a bit lazy at starting from cold.

Ta un advance.

We did them with Kirsty's disco... and very easy job... Though we just bodged it with flexi hose fuel grade and jubilee clips...

as it's not petrol.... can use that clear fibre re-enforced airline type hose... get to see the fuel inside. careful what you join the replacement hose to with the jubilee clips, the genuine pipe tends to crush.
