Title: Frontera section
Post by: tenpolequint on July 05, 2008, 20:49:06
Is this the best section for posting about the vauxhall Frontera, as I think it was based on an Isuzu model. Maybe

Well it seems all the others are posting in here, maybe the section should be called Isuzu Frontera.

It is great to own my first 4x4, off roading in a family saloon is no fun. Now I have some ground clearance I can get off the tarmac a bit more. So far enjoyed it taking the Fronny to Rushenden mudflats and having a green lane trip near Maidstone, which was great although all the sides got scratched.

that's the normal procedure for a Laneing Trip .. scratch the sides up!
must be great out Maidstone way, I did a couple near Tenterden a couple of years back!

I removed ( well they fell off, long story ) my metal wrap around bull bars but the soft A bar has the same fitting on the later A series Frontera, the swb and lwb of this age have the same mounting points but the wrap around bars are different as the swb have wider wings to the lwb so the bars flare out more.

Ive got pics of the foam bar mounts as said they are the same as the metal wrap around bar mounts on this model, what model and year is yours?

This is the best I have of the metal bars on the mount
