Title: bloody doors

hi all aving trouble getting doors to close flush, new locks new strikers new seals etc, they are the push button type. close the door and from where the handle is to the bottom of door does not close tight, top is ok tried adjusting lock striker but door either wont close or just lots of m ovement. you can push on the door when closed and its a tight seal let go and it springs open a little is there a magical way of sorting them out.please help

Like i have done with past Landy doors  :roll:  , gentle persuasion with the door open and a foot or assistant in the appropriate position and pull, watch the glass though or remove it first! Let us know how you get on  :)

I have exactly the same problem, with the added excitement of the door opening it's self whilst I am driving, somebody must have the answer of how to adjust the doors so they open/close properly?

You would be better off using a latch from a garden gate ...........  ;)

You could use shims on the hinges to adjust the door better. Of get a Shogun!! lol. I'm sure I will have this to come with the Yellow Canary!! (LR 90, 1986)
