Title: wheel studs question
Post by: brixworth-alan on September 19, 2010, 09:17:27
OK, so I ordered some replacement wheel studs from Paddocks and what do u know they're the wrong sort, as I need the screw in type not the push in type (doh). Before I go and order them from LR series though, is there just one type or did they vary as well? LR series part says 'series 1, 2 and very early 2as'- mine is a '66 plater so not very early.

Can anyone advise? cheers Alan

Hi mate, the early studs were 9/16 and the s3 were 16mm.The early 9/16 were screw in and the later were push in from the back. All the bearing carriers are interchangable if that helps.

Cheers- looks like I got early carriers on a later car then :)

Thanks!
