Title: 'FAB' (Is It 1, or 2?))
Post by: Bush Tucker Man on December 08, 2003, 11:14:06
I presume that many people will know that there is to be a live action version of that wonderful series 'Thunderbirds'

Johnathon Frakes (Will Ryker in 'Star Trek: Next Generation')  is directing.
Whether this is a good choice remains to be seen.
However, since he never saw it as a child/teenager, he has no preconceptions about the storyline & charactors.

Anyway I was looking for a photo of a 1970's Ford 'A' Series truck (UK version) for a topic on another LR site & found this image.

What a coincidence!, a 6-wheeled '03 model T-Bird.
I wonder if there's any connection whatsoever?

There's an excellent trailer at;

Oh, & yes. The pink T-bird is Lady Penlopes new wheels, I've seen a couple of other pictures of it on the set.

Don't the 'T-Birds' look good in the trailer?

Hi Richard, well downloaded the trailer and it looks very good  :D

Not sure if it will ever be able to live up to the real thing though despite all the special effects the movie is bound to have  :?

Glad you liked it Andy.
Pity that Thunderbird 2 looks so obviously a Computer Generated Image when it's landing outside the Houses of Parliament.

By The Way;
The promised video tape with the 'Schwing' babe in it is in the post

(Waynes World, with Tia Carrera, before anybody thinks any differantly :roll: )
