Post by: 90sam on July 20, 2008, 10:07:26
Hi all,
I'm making a snorkel for my car and just wondered where you can buy the flexi tubing from? Does anyone have any links to the product as i can't seem to find any.
Kind Regards
Sam

You can make rigid bends to whatever angle you need - there was a post on here about it, I forget who came up with the idea but here it is: Heat the pipe over your gas stove. As soon as you feel it soften, gently form the bend and dunk it in cold water to set it. You may need to repeat the process for tighter or more complex bends. Obviously you need to be careful that the pipe doesn't get too thin or even worse tear while making the bend!
