fitting new light bar to roof with four spots, but want to lower voltage so can use when side lights on .like trucks do. can anyone help solve this problem . :?:

you need resistors in there to do it. TBH unless you know what you are doing its safer to get spots with sidelights. It all needs to be relayed and you'll need big 2 ohm resistors, wirewound 30 W jobs.
I can do a wiring diagram if you really want to try it.

Alternatively you can wire the lights in pair to come on in series for dim and parallel as normal for high. Needs a couple of relys but can be done.
