SRS wont reset itself, you need your faults cleared with a diagnostic system.

Theres a few people on here with a diagnostic system you never know your luck, failing that then its either a trip to a main dealer or a good independent.

Diagnostic systems are an expensive bit of kit.  The one I have cost £6000 so its going to cost you whatever.

The air-bag system on the LR is about the only system that wont reset itself.  With the ABS if you cure the fault the light will extinguish itself but the SRS will be on now until the fault code thats stored is cleared with a diagnostic system.

Hey, look on the bright side, I reckon nearly everyone has done the same thing, its quite a common question on here !

I don't have the SRS software for mine yet, or I'd offer.
