Hi Mate

I live in West Highlands we are pretty remote but the scenery is fantastic.

Don't visit without a trip round West Ardnamurchan Lochailort Glenuig area.

The off roading is poor peat bogs to hide all but Argo cats and trails bikes.

I am sure there must be someone out there who has Ideas where you can off road. But It's definatley one of the nicest areas I can think of to visit. If you see peat and reeds at the roadside beware cos you might just get in up to your roof.

Cheers Highlander1

'Green Laning' in Scotland is a VERY complicated subject. I looked into it and got so bogged down with the law, that decided it was not worth the risk. I suggest the best method is to seek permission from a land owner if you have a particular track / route you want to do.
Avoid going off the main roads during shooting season.

Have a look at -  http://www.scotways.com/

Good Luck!
