Title: centre diff.
Post by: sardonicus on March 25, 2007, 18:51:47
I ve just had the rear end of my jeep jacked up to adjust the hand brake linkage. if you rotate one wheel forwards then the other one onthe same axle should turn the other way,but mine doesnt anymore :? they both try to turn in the same direction, this tries to turn the rear propshaft which also moves the front through the transfer case/centre diff.
Any ideas, or am i missing something to do with the fundamentals of rear axles/auto gearboes?
