Title: Discovery 200tdi
Post by: 90sam on February 06, 2007, 18:05:50
So my friend has asked me to post about converting an n/a diesel to a disco 200tdi.
He wants to know how hard it is to do, and what parts that he would need to change. And wants a like "step by step" guide, and to know if he needs to do any wiring?
Thankyou Sam

Not sure where you are in Warwickshire, I am in Banbury, I have done it and you are welcome to come and have a look.  I'm not prepared to write a step by step guide as there are too many options and it would take ages to cover them all.  If you want a look and a chat PM me.  there are also loads of posting on here in the past about this, have you tried the forum search?

Step by step guide with pictures etc.
There are no real problems with the wiring - the part of the loom that goes to the alternatir is a bit too long, and the ends are different. Wiring positions and colours are the same for Inj pump, temp sender, glow pugs (you don't HAVE to use the timer), and oil pressure sender.
