Title: 1 inch lift

hi im thinking of lifting my disco by an inch or so could i get a way with useing my old shocks and front prop ? and leaving the antiroll bars on can any one help thanks shaun

yes thats all ok, if your only lifting 1 or 2 inches, although you may find things such as props or axles start rumbling if they are getting worn as you are changing how they work and worn into. i have lifted a defender 4inches with just new spring bottom plates i made, and dropped the standard shocks , even at this everything else was fine, however, i didnot use it offroad like a lot of youlot do and that makes quite a difference as nothing is really getting stressed that much on road compared to the power or torque going through the components when off roading.

im gona use a set of wizards 1" spacers on mine i already have the bits needed just waiting to get the new house so i can do it on the drive with a bit of help from a realllly realllllllly nice guy ;) that i hope is watching lol plenty of tea and sarnys too ...

got a 1 inch lift on mine only thing i changed was the springs for the new ones and took the rear antiroll bar off

body lift it mate ....ya got no problem with props / drivetrain then  :D  :D

I did a 1" lift on mine too. Rear anti-roll bar 'flips' when off road and the front prop shaft U/J (transfer box end) only lasts around 4000 miles.

You just need to add 1" spacers underneath the anti-rollbar mounts.

and you just need to change the front prop for a double-carden type along with the transfer box output flange :-)
