hello all,
has any one done a 50mm spring and shock replacement on their 120 Land Cruiser yet.
I have been thinking of a 50mm lift.
I don't particulary want to make the ride any harsher though.
She rides very smooth, and I just want to lift it a bit.
If any one has any input to this, please fire away.

Hi Paul,
Thats also an option I was thinking.
She is 5mm down at the front, and 7mm down at the rear.
Not a huge ammount, but it is some thing.
To be honest, I really did think about just replaceng the standard 120 springs and shocks all round.
What does a 'packing piece look like, does it just fit in at the top or the bottom of each spring?

Its just a plastic ring that is 25mm thick. To fit then you need to remove the spring. I think OEC do them.

Thanks Paul,
I will price up some 4 x direct replacement springs from Toyota.
Should I fit standard Toyota shocks aswell? or some longer ones?
Do you have a linky to OEC ?

I did not have a link, but I found it for you http://www.oec4x4.com/.
TBH I would fit the standard ones, even with the 25mm spacer. But I would also price up OME shocks as they might be cheaper and better than Toyota ones. Same for the springs.
