Title: Indestuctible?
Post by: Bush Tucker Man on December 08, 2003, 01:12:03: Anybody else been following 'Top Gears' attempts to destroy that Hi-Lux pick-up?

Ramming trees, dropping a caravan on it, driving it through a shed, bouncing a wrecking ball off it, letting the Bristol Channel drown it, etc....
This week they even dropped it 200foot when a block of flats was being demolished & IT STILL RAN, they even drove into the studio!

Wonder how a Defender would have lasted in comparison?

I been following the adventures of the Hi-lux on top gear, incredible what that motor has been through and it still runs, not sure if it will pass its next MOT?

Would be interesting to see a Defender go thorough the same Ã¢â‚¬Â¦or even a Discovery/Range Rover and a Freelander....
