Title: pajero wheel bearing front keeps coming loose

Hi

Dads got a pajero 2.5 td. near side front bearing keeps coming loose is there a torque setting for it.

Tighten to 130-200Nm (94-145ft.lbs)
Loosen to 0Nm (0ft.lbs) ( preload the bearing)
Retighten to 25Nm (18ft.lbs) & then loosen 30-40deg.

sounds like the casing is spinning in the hub, could refit the bearing scooring thr inner lining with a punch for a tighter fit or replace the hub
