Title: Out & About. Saturday 4th March
Post by: Bush Tucker Man on March 04, 2006, 15:23:50: Just a quick trip out as I was stuck in the house

'Small-Child' at my parents \:D/
SWMBO & in-laws down at a Rose growers near Wolverhampton \:D/ \:D/

Only had a quick nip around the Penistone area, & along Woodhead Pass (A628) then up HolmeMoss (A6024)

It was very nice, but quite a cool day. Sadly the road was clear unlike it was on Friday 24th February (http://forums.mud-club.com/viewtopic.php?t=19389), but the car-park at the top of 'the Moss' was packed with everyone sledging on the northern flank.

Compare the car-park view pictured below with the one taken on Friday 24th February (http://community.webshots.com/photo/533244076/2531932080047309372BZBcDZ)
Could be differant places??

I was just about to leave as a (new to me) Discovery 50th (http://community.webshots.com/photo/376836023/2110350510047309372UfUWzV) pulled in

The only view i have seen like that is just south of Cheltenham on the A419 looking west towards Wales.
Its a shame there's nothing like that around here.
Well, Box Hill in Surrey is suppose :roll:

I'll bet!
This must be one of the few years that Snake Pass hasn't suffered much in the way of closures

I wonder if it's passed further into the trade, or someone has bought it??

I'll be watching out for it.
