hi how hard is the head gasket to do on a 2.5 td shogun mine has just blown on my way home from my sisters lucky i never let it get hot just clouds of white smoke out the tail pipe so pulled over and got rac out

depends on how good you are at mechanics mate, few tips always renew the timing belt, tensioner, head bolts, and use mitsibushi head gasket its dearer but last longer, also renew balance belt,

anticlockwise to undo alot of people wedge a breaker bar on a piece of sponge on the chassis rail and just flick the starter or take the cover of the flywheel and lock with a bar and put some box section over the end of a spanner and push down on box section and get a second person to hit as close to to spanner as they can with a hammer
