Title: engine probs

any one have an answer to my problem which is my shogun only revs upto 3200rpm in 1st & 5th but only upto 2600rpm in 2nd,3rd & 4th gears but when it's isn't in gear/parked it does the full rev range.

Sounds similar to my problem - lack of power :cry:

Air filter, Fuel filter, fuel pipe blockage, injector problems or fuel pump timing

Looking at mine this weekend I hope can let you know more after that :wink:

bet it's heavy on fuel too and that if you get on the motorway with your foot floored you eventually reach 4000 revs (usually on the down slopes with the wind behind you)
