Couldn't find my other post on raising the suspension so thought I would start again.
I would like to raise the front but just enough to level it out. At the moment I have the standard springs on and it is approx 2" higher at the back. I would like to put 2" lifted springs just on the front, would this be ok or would I be better going for a complete set of lifted springs all round?
Another option and by far the cheapest are spring lifters but are these strong enough when used off road?
Sorry more than one question there!
Cheers

I have OME springs fitted and mine sits level. Another way could be to fit a set of spacers under the spring seats. Look on the Mill Services web site for them, Richard can make them any hight up to 4 inches I think.

Yep seen them when looking at the rock/tree sliders but are they strong enough when off road?

The tree sliders are, I have tested mine a few times :D

a pair of D44 spec OME 2" lift springs are good on the front - thats what Im running - makes it nice and high!

I have 2" spacers from wizzard on this forum. No probs.
Had his 1" spacers on another disco and all well. :o

If you put heavy duty springs on the front it might make it level.

Thanks for advice/suggestions
Are the rear springs a wider diamater than the front on a 110 or are both the same?
-
Yes the rears are bigger.

Yes, the rears are 7", and the fronts are 6". I have done a mm4x4 2" lift, and also raised the rears about 1" by making my own spring mounts and relocation cones.

I then put on +4" brake lines too.
The whoile thing sits nice now, and still holds over a tonne in the back no probs.

I have plenty of travel aswell.

Just been looking at some lifted 40mm H/D springs from the rear of a 90, would these go on the front of a 110 and give it that couple of inches lift?
-
Im not sure if the 90 springs are the same sized material as the 110. My new yellow springs were alot thicker than the hd ones i took off.
-
Oh well seems like the best thing to do would be wait and buy the right ones rather than make savings

the springs would fit but im not sure on how much lift you would gain

If it helps I have 110 HCPU springs on the rear and 90 HD rears on the front of my 110 CSW. I have also removed the Boge Load Leveler which is fitted to Countys.

How does it sit with those springs on the front? Does it raise the front to about the same height as the rear?
Cheers

Not level but the front sits higher than standard.
I'll post hight from ground to top of front wing and top of roof when I get home.
