i have a 2.5 nas diesel and it has started pushing oil out through the centre bolt on the rocker any ideas why it is coming out from here

I had the same problem but out of the dipstick tube. It's caused by crankcase pressurisation. usually worn rings or blocked crankcase breather pipe.

Take the nut off, and the bracket for the heater pipes. Then fit a good fitting washer. Refit the bracket and then another washer followed by the nut.
Happened to mine. Its where there is a small gap around the thread, and the oil gets out. :D :D

alrite mate, i have the same trouble with mine except it gets pushed through the breather, its due to excess pressure in the crank housing.

it also coming out the sump gasket now

the engine sat for a long time would this cause the problem

Check all engine breathers! That is where I'd start first, and if all are clear and are not blocked then it could be simply down to engine wear and tear.
Does it smoke while running?

checked and cleaned the black one on top the engine does not smoke at all not even when cold any help greatfully recieved
