Title: terrano rear axle oil seal

Hi have a problem with a 2001 2.7td lwb, have had the rear axle oil seal replaced 3 times ((at a cost0 :( but after a couple of weeks of driving, the same thing car parked up and axle oil dripping out of rear hub/brake drum onto wheel the puddle of oil on the road, Nissan say this is a bad set of oil seal's anybody else had this problem? anyone can please come up with a solution as this is costing lots :huh: thanx

Still have problems with a 2001 model Terrano dropping axle oil out of rear brake drum on o/s, even though both seals now been changed 4 times, is this car just abnormal or is Nissan reliability not as it used to be? Any help greatfully received, thanks :-k

If you`ve replaced the seals 4x The continued leak must be some sort of distortion in the faces the seal sits against..... you would think??

Thanks, Nissan just tell me it is a bunch of dodgy seals,but that many times? and at cost, I have no evidence that they are wrong but fed up being ripped off, but will get someone to take a look at the face, thanks again, thought I was going mad :evil:
