Title: 05 MY Freelander Radio Access / Removal H E L P!

:?: Anyone got a New FL that they've removed the Radio or seen someone do it?

I have a bluetooth phone kit and a Sub to fit and do you think I can work out how to remove the silver plastic sides..... can I feck!

Can get the top trim off ok and can loosen the rear section of the silver trim but not the front. :?:

Land Rover Freelander 2004>

1. Remove the blanking plate above the radio system and the two Philips screws behind this.

2. Remove the four screws under the arm rest securing the centre console.

3. Remove the trim and then the two screws in the recess at the back of the trim.

4. Remove the screw beneath the blanking plate under the handbrake and the screws either side of the transmission tunnel trim.

5. Pull the whole fascia section backwards.


Let me know, i'm going to be doing the same to fit my mobile handsfree next week.
