Title: Rubber wheel arches
Post by: on March 11, 2006, 14:10:03
Anybody know where to get rubber wheel arches for a bobtail. We went for wider tyres and the bloody things are sticking out a fair bit.

GRP are no good as the will just get smashed

Thanks

I got some soft plastic ones off eblag, £50 quid, slight seconds that you can paint (the ones i got were for a defender and the arches need some cutting).

fitting them to my bob tail presently.

I amtrying to make a st of 90/110 ones fit my 4 dr rangie at the mo.
Quite a bit of work on the doors !
Fairly simple on a 3 dr. Did this before. I made a template from a 90 to work with.
Thare are several sets on "that" site at the mo.

Better fit them well, they do have a habit of attacking things at the side of the gaps you try to get through sometimes

Could not see them on the forum ?
Is it an orange landy ?
I saw some a while back. I emailed the company in the states and the import for set is as much as the arch kit. Prob be ok on bulk as you can buy it on rolls and cut sets to suit !

Yes they are Defender archies and they were a right pain in the xxxx to fit. not much wing left......

Best to get RR ones for a RR and Defender ones for a Defender
