can any body tell me the weight of a 200 tdi engineas its half way out but it wont lift high enough unless i can adjust my jib to the next setting which is 2500kg will this lift it or not pls answears asap..... :?  :?  :?

2500kg = 2.5 ton

Hi Sub 4x4.
The answer to your question is YES  :lol: . The Maximum gross vehicle weight of our Disco is 2720 kg. So you could effectivly lift the hole car  :!: .

a TD engine is approx 250-270 kgs , so a TDi should be much different - if anything, lighter.  That excludes the g/box.

I lifted one ok - well beyond the SWL of the crane as I had to extend the crane reach to get over the bumper of a 90.
