Title: Grand Cherokee series codes
Post by: boogieman on August 25, 2008, 06:49:00
Can anyone tell me what the letters WH, WJ & WK mean in relation to the Grand Cherokee. I see them being used but I don't see them on my log book or paperwork so how do I know what my Grand is ? It's a 2001 3.1TD.    Thanks in anticipation  :)

Yours is a WJ - or WG if made in Austria

Current ones are WK

and I think the Commanders are WH?

Thanks B/F  :)  Is this just something you know, or is this code written somewhere - like in the sales brochure or something ?

Ps: I'm sorry to say I had a quiche last week

No bacon in it I'm pleased to say after reading todays papers

But it was very nice - & as I haven't driven my Jeep for about 6 weeks I guess I'm allowed that one

Glad the codes are making sense...
