Here's one site that had been a serious life saver when I owned my XJ. http://www.go.jeep-xj.info/

P.S. When you getting a gas conversion?

I had a M plate, lovely motor but the rot was getting stupid in the end, enjoy it tho' they are fast and handle well.

BFG AT or MT tyres work well under them. A fairly cheap "lift" kit is to buy the diesel "upcounty" springs for the rear, 1.75" coil spacers for the front. You can get 30" tyres to fit then.

You should be able to fit 235 x 75 R15 A/T's or M/T tyres with possibly only a minor bit of work to the bump stops

If its M reg does it have an OE transfer case skid plate?..If not then thats the next mod plus possibly disconnects and as UK says the rear springs from a diesel :D

the diesel springs sounds the way to go i want it up a bit but im not going mad with this one just enugh for a spot of laining

bish will those 235/75/15's fit as is or will i need to fettle
the springs first?

an M-plate most likely wont have a steering guard/transfer case skid/fuel tank skid.........

as has already been said, 235's will fit no problem, tis what I ran on mine when it was stock!!

if you want to know anything else, give me a shout!!

that's probably because "da-plough" took the blunt of the hit first...........or then again,  your superior driving technique could have something to do with it also.
