visited the war and peace show on sunday and saw some stunning vehicles and re-enactments of battles etc, 3500 military vehicles from the 20th centurys biggest conflicts some pics below

That 101 radio body you posted a picture of is actually a Vampire with full working kit, towing a complete artillery locating radar set. I sat in it on one of the hottest days with the aircon unit full on. It was like sitting in a fridge :D

there were loads and loads of willys jeeps , you could even win one fully restored on one stand, but alas i took no pics of them :roll:

Join the Ex-Miltary Land Rovers Association or a local MVT club and you can join in on the displays. I've done this for a couple of years. Mind you after a couple of days I feel the need to go outside, all those re-enactors wearing uniform all the time can be a bit bizarre. Don't mind patrolling our site in uniform with an SA80 for awhile but I usually change in the evening into civvy style!
