Is it a fairly easy job to replace the radiator on a 96 Pajero import , 2.8 Diesel auto ? .Milner 4x4 have them priced at £120 , the top edge right behind the filler cap has an 8inch split along its seam so it looks like its needing a new one .
Many thanks
Steve .

easy job but make sure its a 3 core replacement if any towing is to be done as ive read on various pajero forums they dont like 2 core replacements can you not get yours repaired and recored and dont forget to top up transmission fluid as the bottom of the rad is the oil cooler for the auto transmission

Thanks for that , access is the biggest problem by the look of it , do you need to remove bash plate / steering guard to reach bottom hose ? .

You know, I've done this and I cant remeber how the hell we did it. Wasnt too much hassle though although that doesnt help :)

imsure you can takeit out without removing steeering guard but im sure if i remember right it would be easier to take guards of sorry if its not 100% answer at the moment buts its all i can remember at the moment

Its probably easier to take the guard off, with getting to the bottom hose, its only 4 bolts.
