i had a new srs ecu an all sensors changed less then a month ago an everything was working fine on my v8 es 96 disco went into petrol garage tonight to fill up an come to start it an battery was flat dont know why it went flat as it had been used durin the day to do a 50 mile round trip with no probs an nothing was left on an when i got a jump start my srs light is stayin on permantly again have i fried a sensor or the ecu by jump startin car or do u think it could be fixed by gettin it hooked up to diagnostics machine anyhelp ar advise gratefully recieved as i dont wanna fork out for another ecu for it if its gonna do it if my battery ever goes flat again

Get it daignosed first, that way you will at least know what went wrong.

if it is the same as vauxhall the fact the battery went flat will cause a trouble code in the airbag system. Because this is a safety system you can only turn it out on a diag machine.

Hi
In the service records on my 1994 v8 disco has 2 records of srs reset after flat battery
All it wanted was a reset as it records under voltage in memory
