Title: diesel 2.5 oil filter (cartridge type) to a 2.25

guys

has anyone fitted a cartridge type oil filter casting too a 2.25 diesel engine and is it possible reason its somuch cleaner be fore anyone asks

I would imagine it's a direct swap. The early 90's had a metric 2.25 engine with a cartridge type filter casting. I've got one on my 2.25 petrol. I can't imagine they'd have changed the mounting on the 2.5.

yes just get the housing off a 2.5 and it should bolt up to the 2.25 mount.  and as TBM says late 2.25's had this exact setup anyway.
