Hi all my neighbour has a 3.0l surf auto but he cant get the overdrive to work anyone had this problem

Does the od light up when disenguaged , first thing i would check is the switch then the ecu code .......More info here....www.hiluxsurf.co.uk (http://www.hiluxsurf.co.uk)
