I got a phone-call just as I was leaving work at 14:30.
It was the wife;
"Hi, have you got any plans for this afternoon?"
"No, apart from taking the Dogs for a walk. Why????"
"Oh, Sam phoned & asked if you want to go to ....... with him!"
"I'm on my way!!!"
So after a quick dash home & a rapid wash & change of clothes, I was waiting to be picked up.
Guess what I've been doing this afternoon?
It involves 3-wheels, a 4-cylinder horizontally-oppposed, air-cooled engine.
No!, it wasn't a trike :D 8) :lol: :wink:
First time I'd been in his Nissan Patrol 3.0litre diesel. Not bad

flying?
-
Indeed it was.
My pilot has about 50hours in single-engined. We flew up the A1 & crossed over to Harrogate, then up over to Wharfedale over Bolton Abbey.
Pity it was so hazey up there.
Even circled the house on our return journey :lol:

Oh it was great (& this is from someone who refuses point-blank to go on a roller-coaster)
As the (late) great Fred Dibnah used to say;
It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop.
Then it's a half-day out with the Undertaker" :lol:
And here is a man who describes himself as a boring old fart, come off it Rich.
True, but I mean in the socialising/partying/etc....... aspect
Good trip out

Wow! What a strange coincidence. Cue the 'Twilight Zone' music. So presumably at Sherburn as well then?
Is that your house in the second picture???
I wish, it's in an idyllic location, no it's Bolton Abbey up in Wharfedale
-
So presumably at Sherburn as well then?
Yip. If you look at nearly all the club aircraft there, they are G-SAC?, as in Sherburn Aero Club.

Don't be too harsh on him.
It's partly my fault, I wanted to know who was waving at me from an Escort or RR next time I came to Leicester.
-
:lol: :wink:
Must get some stickers made up for the RR...
Rather be recognised by them, than a B****Y great photo on the internet :roll: :lol:
May let him keep the use of his vital organs if he
shows some remorse :twisted: :lol:
