typical back door

my secret weapon!!
and the sort of finished door

inbetween the door and the ply is the best part of a large can of expanding foam!!! should insulate it and quieten it down..
And the Widow in all her glory..

Thats a good idea. I was toying with putting chequer plating over my rear door, but the holes from where a spare wheel carrier had been on the door are useful to know how far I can reverse back, so that might wait! I like the foam. I need some sound proofing, but further forward.

just done the drivers door as well, passenger door has a large piece of carpet attatched to it - by the previous owner not me!!, will see on monday morning how much quieter/warmer it is ;)

gonna see about making my snorkel up tomorrow if this weather holds!
may even wash the Widow.....

You don't want to wash her, she looks great! I've fitted 90 doors to mine, decreases the leg space, but has got the door linings and wind down windows which I do like.
